Just one of only four Ghibli SS 4.9 Spyders built to RHD specifications. Originally owned by the royal family of Qatar.
This car arrived in 2018 from Australia and we were asked to tackle the body and paintwork. The car had extensive corrosion and previous poor repairs that we dealt with and it was finished in its original colour Bianco Polo Park. This fantastic restoration was certainly a team effort.

1971 Maserati Ghibli SS
Owned by the President of the UK Maserati Club - a body and paint restoration was carried out by us in 1990. Finished in a personal choice of Rosso Cordoba exterior paint, as painted by Sue in 1993.
“On completion, the Ghibli debuted in 1993 at the Silverstone Festival where it won the Maserati Club Annual Concours. This would be the first of many concours trophies the car would win, as it was widely acknowledged as one of the very best. The Ghibli would also feature in various magazines and books, including 'Maserati Heritage' by Sparrow/Ayre and even Quentin Willson's 'Cool Cars'!”
2018 - “The quality of the restoration was such that even today the car still looks magnificent and has the reputation of 'the one to beat'.” via Bonhams.
